How do I contact Southside Little League if I have a question?
The best way to connect with us is sending an email to [email protected]

Tell me more about the league?
The league was started in 1954 by a number of families located in the Highland Park/South Wedge neighborhoods.  Some of the family members are still involved with the league today as sponsors.  We pride ourselves on promoting a fun and welcoming environment focused on teaching baseball/softball fundamentals, working hard and living our motto of building community through baseball.

What divisions do you have and what are the age groups?
 We offer
 - T-Ball for boys and girls - ages 4 to 6
 - Rookies baseball (boys) and softball (girls) - ages 6 to 8
 - Minors baseball (boys) and softball (girls) - ages 8 to 10
 - Majors baseball (boys) and softball (girls) - ages 11 to 12
 - Older levels - we do occasionally offer older divisions depending on interest.

Do you offer softball?
Yes - we offer softball at the Rookies, Minors and Majors levels

My kid's birthday is on MMM-DD-YYYY.  What division does he or she qualify for?
We use the Little League Age Calculator to determine. Please enter your child birthdate into calculator at this website - https://www.littleleague.org/play-little-league/determine-league-age/

Does the league offer scholarships and how can I apply for one?
Yes - we have a limited number of scholarships available to anyone that wants to participate in the league and don't feel they have the financial resources to do so.  The scholarships are first come first served and can be used to pay for part or all of a registration fee.  We don't ask for any proof of need.  All we ask is if someone would like to take advantage of a scholarship that they let us know which program they are interested in and what percentage of the registration fee they want to have covered.  Then you can sign-up for the program that interests your player, pay whatever percentage you can and the league will cover the rest.  Please send us an email at [email protected] is you are interested in a scholarship.
